Description

Ahmad Shah, the last monarch of Qajar dynasty, was born in Tabriz (1314H) and died in Paris (1348H).
He succeeded his father, Mohammad-Ali-Shah, when he was 13 years old in 1327H. It took 5 years, under supervision of the viceroy, until he reached the age 17 when he officially declared his enthronement and introduced himself as the king of Iran. That was eight days before the start of the world war 1. His rule lasted 12 more years. He was on a trip to Europe, when he was deposed by the parliament. Thus, after 150 years the Qajar dynasty came to its end
